- Like so many of Baltimore’s newer crew of Club DJs, Benny Stixx got his start in the mid-90s, jumping out of his bedroom into house parties and small functions. After many countless hours of practice and mixtapes Benny jumped right into nightclubs and bigger functions trail blazed by Club’s first and second-wavers. Since the early 2000s, Benny has been dropping mixtapes, Club remixes, and lacing local artists with beats, all the while becoming a ubiquitous live DJ, seen and heard around the Baltimore area in places like Gardel’s, Baha Beach Club, Club One and many others.
